Gaming accessory maker Razer is filling out its Broadcaster series of products today with the launch of Ripsaw, an external gaming capture card.
Ripsaw is designed to make it easier for console gamers to get and share their footage on popular platforms like Twitch and YouTube Gaming. The device captures raw, uncompressed data at up to 1080p at 60 frames per second and streams it with what Razer calls "near-to-zero" latency over USB 3.0.
Other supported resolutions include 1080i, 720p, 576p, 576i, 480p and 480i.
The gadget also features an auxiliary audio input as well as a mic jack which allows gamers to add a secondary audio or commentary layer with ease. Ripsaw is compatible with popular streaming software like XSplit and Open Broadcaster Software and also comes with all of the necessary cables you'll need to connect to your PC as well as the Razer Forge TV, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Wii U.
Speaking of, you'll need a pretty decent system to use Ripsaw. Razer recommends the following hardware:

The Ripsaw is the latest product in Razer's Broadcaster series which also includes the Stargazer webcam and Seiren digital gaming mic.
