High-end Graphics Cards (4xAA/4xAF)

Now with 4xAA/4xAF enabled the Radeon graphics cards look a bit better as the Radeon HD 4870 X2 takes second place. This dual-GPU monster was still slower than the GeForce GTX 285. Furthermore, the Radeon HD 4890 trailed behind the GeForce GTX 260, while it was easily outclassed by the GTX 275.

Not much changed at 1920x1200 and the Radeon HD 4870 X2 remained the second fastest graphics card tested, sitting between the GeForce GTX 285 and the GTX 275.

At 2560x1600 the Radeon HD 4870 X2 is able to steal the performance crown for the first time, taking first position from the GeForce GTX 285 by 4fps. Although the Radeon HD 4890 was able to slightly gain on the GeForce GTX 260 it was still much slower than it should have been.
