Benchmarks: Wolfenstein, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars

In Wolfenstein we see an average of 42fps at 1680x1050 with the GeForce GT 240. To our disappointment, this made the card around 7% slower than the GeForce 9600 GT and a whopping 24% slower than the 9800 GT. Those wanting to play at a 1920x1200 resolution will need to drastically reduce the visual quality of the game, as we saw an average of just 29fps.

The Gainward GeForce GT 240 also suffered when testing with Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, where we saw a barely playable average of 36fps at 1680x1050. The GeForce 9600 GT managed 49fps at this resolution, and the 9800 GT produced 53fps. Meanwhile, the Radeon HD 4770 delivered far better performance at 81fps.
