SATA Performance

Unfortunately we do not have a 6Gb/s SATA device on hand such as the new Crucial RealSSD C300, so we have had to test SATA performance with the OCZ Vertex 2 Pro which is an incredibly fast SSD in its own right.

Performance-wise the new 890GX chipset appeared only slightly better than the 785G when using the OCZ Vertex 2 Pro, leaving room for the Intel platform to take over these tests.
