Benchmarks: HD Tune Pro

In the HD Tune Pro random 512 bytes test, OCZ's RevoDrive X2 delivered 3.8 times more performance than the Vertex 2 Pro 100GB. It was also 2.8 times faster than in the 1MB test, and 2.7 times in the random file size test.

The HD Tune Pro random write 512 bytes test provided some interesting results. The RevoDrive X2 was actually slower than the Samsung 470 Series 256GB, while it was 3.3 times faster than the Vertex 2 Pro 100GB. The random 1MB test put the RevoDrive X2 240GB back on top as it was 2.9 times quicker than the Vertex 2 Pro 100GB. This was also seen in the random file size test.
