Benchmarks: File Copy Test

Kingston's HyperX 240GB managed to match the standard and Max IOPS editions of the Vertex 3 in our 6GB ISO file copy test, putting it about 9% ahead of Crucial's M4 256GB and even further beyond the Intel SSD 510 Series 120GB.

The program copy test is comprised of many small non-compressed files (6104 files totaling 2.75GB). This time the Kingston HyperX 240GB was a fraction slower than the Patriot Wildfire 240GB and Vertex 3, but it maintained its lead on the M4.

The game copy evaluation is a mixture of small and large, compressed and non-compressed files. Again, we found the HyperX 240GB to be slightly slower than the Patriot Wildfire 240GB, but it's worth noting that the M4 skipped to third place.
