Benchmarks: Battlefield 3, Crysis 3

The Radeon HD 7790 averaged 45 fps at 1680x1050 when testing with Battlefield 3, which isn't bad except for the fact that it was 7% slower than the GeForce GTX 650 Ti. The 7790 did sit between the 7770 and 7850 nicely, as it was 17% faster than the 7770 and 18% slower than the 7850.

The frame time performance tells a similar story, this time the Radeon HD 7790 was 11% slower than the GeForce GTX 650 Ti.

The Radeon HD 7790 struggles with Crysis 3 using the high quality settings, even at 1680x1050 where it averaged just 21fps. This made it a fraction slower than the GeForce GTX 650 Ti which managed 21.7fps, making the 7790 3% slower.

Frame time performance paints a similar story, although the results are again very close it is the Radeon HD 7790 which is faster, beating the GeForce GTX 650 Ti by a 1% margin.
