Powerdesk Pro: Doubleclick does not always open winZIP-file

My XP/SP2 has Winzip 9.0 SR-1 installed, as well as Powerdesk Pro 6.
All the file associations are OK.
However, when (in Powerdesk) I doubleclick on a ZIP file that is two (or more) directories deep, it refuses to open. Rightclick and open with Winzip works.
e.g. D:\Data\tools.zip opens
but D:\Data\Hardware\tools.zip does NOT open.
Funnily, .CAB files open perfectly everywhere, using the same Winzip.
The association settings for .ZIP and .CAB are identical.

Windows Explorer works OK, and Powerdesk also works OK under Windows 2000.
Just XP gives me grief. (The first grief, believe it or not!)

Anybody come across this?

I am Shocked !
RBS quote" Windows Explorer works OK, and Powerdesk also works OK under Windows 2000.

Give it time you will find more, I promise.

As for your issue , You may have found a software bug. I suppose you let the authors know so they can try and re-create the situation.
Is it possible Windows security is blocking? Does this happen if you are logged on as Administrator and as a User?
I know it is a shot in the dark, but some permissions will not pass though the next tier of folders to reach a file , depending on the settings.
See you around.
