sorry red im not trying to be a pain i just really would like the extra performance from this card that i know it can do but ccc sucks and the voltage on these cards doesn't allow high overclocks

buy a 4890 and call it fixed

j/p, I haven't really done any overclocking under Win7 yet so I'm not really sure what to suggest. If there was a way to manage the card and 3D settings without CCC (i.e. Rivatuner + ATT) I would maybe try that but I'm not sure RT can even run under 7 yet. Of course the real problem seems to be Driver Signing which I have no experience with, so I guess either figure that out or it's a bust. What about Beta drivers that are unsigned, would that yield the same problem?

yes a 4890 would be nice but im about to have a baby and funds are low i know with enough OC i can bring the gap between a 4850 and 4870 a little closer.

EX,
driver signing and the disabling of is a hit and miss proposition, you have to try it and find out. the forums are full of people flummoxed over it. i had to try 3 different methods 5 times to get it to allow UD's

not a bad idea though....3x 4890's
