The best answer is to get rid of that norton crap!!

Download either the free AVG or Avast antivirus programmes and either the free Zonealarm or Kerio firewall programmes from within this link - [url]http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic58138.html[/url]

Then, disconnect from the net and completely uninstall Symantec/Norton. If you have any problems in uninstalling the programme, take a look at this thread - [url]http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic57112.html[/url]

Once you`ve completely uninstalled Symantec/Norton, reboot your system and install whichever firewall programme you chose, followed by whichever antivirus programme you chose. Reboot your system the required number of times and reconnect to the net. Run the antivirus updates.

the only norton I can recommend is Norton corporate or norton systemworks 2003 and earlier.

Yeah Norton is a piece of crap, I tell my mom that all the time and she says "It's the best antivirus program out there!!!!11" then I go along with it then one day I scanned her laptop and found like 200 viruses but since norton is so good I didnt delete them ( I know it's mean but she thinks norton is alot better then Avast! / AVG so.. eh )

I am new to this forum and look forward to working with everyone. Currently I am having a problem when Norton Internet Security is turn on I am having problem with accessing the internet. Look like the 2005 Norton has some bug in this area. Any work about will be greatly appreciate.

Maybe you should consider getting rid of Norton altogether and using something else?

You would need to download whichever antivirus and firewall programme you chose, then disconnect from the net and uninstall Norton. If you have any problems in uninstalling Norton, see this thread [URL="http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic57112.html"]HERE[/URL].

Then, once Norton is completely uninstalled, reboot your system and install whichever firewall programme you chose, followed by whichever antivirus programme you chose.

Reboot your system the required number of times and reconnect to the net. Run the antivirus updates.
