Bugcheck code 7F with nt status code x'0d' is hardware error. According to my record, 50% is faulty RAM, 25% is faulty M/B, 25% is faulty CPU.

thanks CPC

Hi CPC, thanks for the prompt reply. but while I was waiting for it, I just started fiddling with the comp. As the comp is new , I had not installed many new softwares on it. So i just started uninstalling each one and checking. I had norton which i removed, then zone alarm as well. The thing seems to be working now after removing zone alarm, I have put sygate instead, and for the past 1 hour it hasn't rebooted. I don't know whether this is related or not but I was so desperate that i tried everything. I will monitor it for a few more hours or maybe till tomorrow and see if Zone alarm was the reason. What do u think about it. Anyway thanks for the response, I will check again and post you on what happens.
thanks for your help, will post again tomorrow

When Windows crashes with blue screen, it writes a system event 1001 and a minidump to the folder \windows\minidump. Check system event 1001 and it has the content of the blue screen

Event ID: 1001
Source: Save Dump
Description:
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck.The bugcheck was : 0xc000000a (0xe1270188, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0x804032100).
Microsoft Windows..... A dump was saved in: .......

Control Panel -> Adminstrative Tools -> Event Viewer -> System -> Event 1001. Copy the content and paste it back here

Zip 5 to 6 minidumps and attach the zip files here. I will study the dump and find out the culprit.

My dumps...

Can someone please look at my dumps too? I started having BSODs once or twice every day about 2 weeks ago. No hardware changes or driver updates have been done. I've attached 4 minidumps - I'll be happy to add more if needed.

Thanks!!!

Two of your minidumps are inaccessible and this are the symptom of faulty RAM. One minidump crashed at tcpip. As you know tcpip is a stable module. It crashes only if hardware error.

Suggestion
1. Reseat your memory to another memory slot
2. Downclock the RAM
3. Take one memory stick if you have two. If no more BSOD occurs, the removed RAM is faulty.

blue screen with Stuck Key 2

Blue screen again, when restarting, it says an error: Stuck Key 2, then starting again its ok.

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000004e (0x00000099, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000).

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: %1. A dump was saved in: %2.

I have put the Mini082105-01.dmp in the attachment. Please check. Also want to know how to see what is in the dump file.

Really thanks.

William

Hi William,

From your latest minidump, I find out your Norton AV is upgraded to 2005. If you don't tell me the truth, I can't help you. Maybe some experts can help you.

error report

Dear Expert,

I just have a full scan with the Norton, what is Norton AV?

Also this morning when starting it has an error report, the program is rfibug.exe, location is c:/windows/system2, and the error occurs everytime after entering XP, wonder how to find the detail about the report. Its not convenient to see it just in the dialbox.

a blue screen, dmp file attched.

Also in the msconfig startup, there are some strange program. like yvvxsme.exe r, what does r mean here? also in system2

Many thanks,

William

William,

You does not provide accurate information. Garbage in and garbage out. Base upon your last minidump, fauty RAM is the culprit.

KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000008e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
happening.
Arguments:
Arg1: c0000005, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: 8054ae34, The address that the exception occurred at
Arg3: f10e3aa0, Trap Frame
Arg4: 00000000

Debugging Details:

physical memory dump error message

Hello all!

After reading some of these posts, I was hoping that someone could tell me what was going on with this machine. I have attached the files from the event viewer. The machine is up and running now, but I hope to keep it that way, so I would really appreciate if someone could tell me why I got the error message.

Thanks in advance.

Your minidumps are corrupted and it is the symptom of bad ram.

Memory Dump and keep rebooting

Hi folks, I am a newbie and I am very desperate for help. I switch on my system today and suddenly there wasa blue screen and said something about memory dump, it then rebooted and from morning till now, it is still the same. I tried booting into the safe mode and it appears that my hard disk did not crash.

Could it be my RAM? or my mother board. My system is very new. Running on Intel P4 3.4GHZ, 2 GB DDR2 533 RAM (2 slots) and a 120GB hard disk with additional 2 removal IDE racks.

Appreciate if all the masters and experts could help me on how to resolve the problem. Thanks ppl!
