Well, if Quake III is there, then other games using its engine could be as well, such as American McGee's Alice and Heavy Metal: F.A.K.K. 2.

Edit: Are uppercase letters forbidden in list tags? I fixed the whole list only to notice it didn't do anything. All lowercase looks stupid.

I have fixed the bug we were having with break lines when posting/editing a message.

The list from the first page has been fixed as well
Please let me know if you have any further problems with this.

Lords of Magic is also supposed to be a really good game, and is pretty old also. I will test it out today, but according to all of my friends it is really good.

That's one thing that really makes me very angry. These companies engineering computer games so only a $8,000 machine will run them at full tilt!

Me and a buddy had this conversation and my point was that if it takes 2 years for technology to "catch up" or in that time it hardware becomes that affordable, by that time the game is old and something else new is out! What is the point of purchasing a game that you can't enjoy to the fullest?

Well, what is wrong with buying a game that is two years old? Actually, it is exactly what you should do.. Instead of running after the "latest and greatest" hype like a sheep, play games that have proved themselves and are still remembered after a couple of years. You will save fortune and since you are playing better games, the entertainment vaue will be higher.

You are right, I just bought a game that is like 3 years old and not only did I pay $10 for it instead of $50 when it was new, My PC is ahead of the game as far as the performance goes because it is newer...

How about:

Pacific fighters

LockOn air combat

Need for speed most wanted

Thanks for the update. However, SOCOM is a console-only series. This thread is for PC games only.

Well, Savage. It is a free RTSS game that has a sequal that costs.

s2games.com

They look really good and can be played on low end machines, also.

One more.....

Warsow..

It is a free tourney based FPS. Very fast paced and cartoony. It looks pretty good, too.
