This is definitely a cool list. A lot of terrific games that can be played on most machines. I used to play an awesome game called DarkStar One quite a few years ago and I remember it requiring very little out of my system. Might be a cool one to add to the list.
Nice list! I definitely wish I found this before I got my new Lenovo y560p this May! Fallout 2 - best game of all time!!!!!
Dungeon Keepers will not work on Windows 7, and is very buggy on XP at best, it will play fine the first 10 hours of gameplay but after this it'll start crashing. My old PC is not very good, and it could handle Dawn of War 2. Spore and Age of Empires 3 were also supported.
OMG what about Half-Life 1 & 2, so good, I think most valve games would run good on that hardware:stickout:
My, rig, if you notice, is very entry-level. Yet, since it is properly maintained, I runs great. Still, I would love it if I could run Counter-Strike: Source at Full Graphic Settings without falling to 29 fps.
Read the list; GTA: SA, and all the Half Life games are on there. CS: Source will give you good performance if you play only with the DX7/8 shaders, as stated in the list as well.
Dark Forces... awesome FPS for the time (non-multiplayer though). But great weapons. Super game... love it
