if you have something to refill the glass with, it's half full.
If you don't, it's half empty

if you are about to run out of something to drink, then you would have a pessimistic outlook.

If you have plenty to refill your glass with, then you are optimistic.

No no no - 42 is the answer. We don't know the question.
And the ingredients of the PGGB are only known to a select few in the future and the late (as in deceased) Douglas Adams.

Please try to keep this thread user friendly and stop giving spritzer recipies!

The correct answer is whatever you think as the cup as being, either half full or half empty.

i know there's debates going on all over the place here but i haven't voted yet becaues i can't make my mind up

probably because there is no right answer, other than what sort of outlook you have at the time, for the many reasons that people have said before me

it's interesting to see what sort of things people have to say on this matter though

I think we can be sure that the Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster was NOT a spritzer. Half full or half empty, who cares.....

Then Let's Give This Thread The Consideration It Deserves....

This thread has "evolved" into something other than it's original intent. I think the concept, "is the glass half empty or half full" is so far from the "Most difficult question known to man" as to be completely absurd. I suspect that whoever started knew that at its inception, didn't you? The people here are giving it it's true measure of significance by joking about other things, thereby injecting new life into a dead issue.

If you really want that question answered truthfully by me, I can tell you in advance, you're not going to like my response.
Here goes. It's whatever the **** I want it to be, depending on my mood at any given time. The fact not withstanding that it's none of your business anyway.

So, I thought it was a good thing that our group was still participating. You can't expect this asinine discussion to go on forever without changing.

If we're just looking for a "debate" that could go on ad infinitum, why not try this one, a guaranteed winner, and a favorite of pseudo-intellectuals, potheads, first year psychology students and a******s everywhere.

"If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound".

Ahhh, existentialism, which is a euphmism for "mental m**********n".

Let's ponder something less weighty with little relevance in the modern world; should the USA nuke Iran?
