I need some help regarding the standard roaming profile or mandatory profile. For argumenbt sake say I have a server 2003 server with 2 xp professional clients setup on a LAN.
I am wondering if it is possible to create groups in active directory (accounting, pay role) and have a seperate profile for each department and user as default ( each profile from department to department will have different network share privelidges, desktop/program options, and Internet access) when logging on to the server from any pc.
Currently all the users created have have access to there windows login profile on any pc on the network by enabling roaming profile.
How do i begin doing all this?
