3D Acceleration and DirectX 9.0c Problems

I fairly recently ordered a new computer and I installed World of Warcraft(WoW) on it. I was able to play the game just fine until suddenly we had a power surge or something along those lines and my computer rebooted and now there seems to be a problem. Whenever I start "WoW" I get the error: "World of Warcraft was unable to start up 3D Acceleration. Please make sure DirectX 9.0c is installed and your video drivers are up-to-date." I'm fairly new to computers so I'm not sure what to do. If you have any information, please help. It would be glady appreciated.
