I have just purchased the Nebula Digitv External USB 2.0 TV Freeview device for my Pc. I must confess, it is probably one of the best £99 i have ever spent!! The device is packed with features and works an absolute treat!
My only problem i am having with it is the sound playback. I have a 5.1 channel speaker system configured on my PC but, for some unexplained reason, the sound playback through the device is only 2 channel. In the audio settings menu of the Nebula device, there is an option for AC3 playback with the channel settings. I have checked the 5.1 box but still nothing. I am a bit confusded as to why i cannot get 5.1 playback and, also, i am not too sure exactly what AC3 is and how i configure this?

My system is Pentium 4 3.0Ghz with 1.5G RAM; Asus sound card, soundmax audio control panel inbuilt.
