About recovering deleted text files

How can I get my Word and text files back from a formatted partition ?
I really need only the text files cuz they are V.important for me !
Any Help !

Do not use the HDD for now. Check out your problem online with Google. I used the following search terms: "recover files after format and partition" where I found a good article at http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/how-to-scan-reformatted-hard-drive-to-recover-files/ and I also noted an active series of posts at tomshardware.
