Acessing region-locked games

Minding the guide at https://www.techspot.com/guides/569-access-locked-content-anywhere/ I was wondering that if a simple proxy wont let me acess a region-locked game so my only option is a vpn right? For example, to play Point Blank (Brazilian FPS) one would only have to use a simple proxy to do it, but with Warface(Also Br FPS) that same simple proxy does not work, IP Masks's either, so...im kinda out of solutions now Any ideas or thoughts someone might share?

You need to route all traffic through the proxy, and depending on your knowledge it's not so easy. A VPN usually routes all outside traffic through itself.
