Adding RAM, compatability???

I have 2 sticks of kingston value ram DDR400 512MB, I want to get a stick of 1GB. I have seen amny machines running 2 256 and 1 gig ect ect. They run fine. Would this be fine for me?

If the new stick works at the same timings and voltage it might work...you need to try it to be sure.
