I created this login script which includes mapping of network drives and printers. The mapping of the network drives works perfectly. However the printers doesn't. I'm using the AddWindowsPrintConnection method.

This is what happens. To test I reboot a computer and log in. I receive no errors. I check the mapped drives, and the expected drives are there. When I go to check the printers they are not there.

So I copied the vbscript file to my local computer and executed it. And the printer mapping worked. Anybody has a clue what it wouldn't work as part of the login script, but work when I run it manually?

thanks

If it works when you double-click it, write in your login script a line to either copy the vbscript locally and execute it or execute it through the login script across the network.

If the clients can see it in (EG: ) X:\Files\vbscript, edit your login script to run it from there.
