I'm AMD will do quite well with ARM
Here's hoping. The only problems I can see are:
1. AMD are looking at 2014. Calxeda are already here ( Dell and HP )
2. So are Marvell
3. AMD are cutting costs to get to a $1.3bn quarterly break even point. What area of business gets chopped to fund the ARM server development? High end consumer/server CPU and chipset? Graphics? Game dev relations?
4. AMD have a history of changing their roadmap on a near weekly basis depending on whatever someone else in the industry is doing.
