I wonder why it isn't listed as the max then....because it sure should be. Maybe it's because HEDT is considered a different segment and so it's not considered the "maximum" for home PCs.

Strong. Hopefully all of the Zen3 CPUs don't get gobbled up by the bots.

Nah, CPUs are made in much larger quantity than video cards because they don't need the "card" part. If bots buy up a bunch of CPUs, the scalpers will end up with a bunch of CPUs that they'll only be able to sell for zero profit.

With Zen 3, it's very, very, very difficult to go back to Intel.

I already had an eye on the Zen 2 based Ryzen 7 processors for my upgrade, even though I'm currently running an intel core i7 8700K and don't really need the upgrade.

But Zen 3 is just too much to resist anymore, especially I deal with lots of emulations of consoles and PC in my systems. And being a Linux user I deal with lots of compiling and a Zen 3 Ryzen 7 or 9 would really hit the spot!
