Any Cool People here?

Well I am at college so the social events are good.

My college is located on the West Virginian panhandle, right smack dab on the Appalachian trail, and about a 2 minute walk from the Potomac. I go fishing 3 times a week, hike the C&O Canal, do some kayaking etc. Then when I am tired I come back to the laptop and post here lol.

Weed. Pfah, it's such a waste of time and money.

There's better things to do with yourself, or to yourself.
It doesn't get you high btw, it's a hypnotic and it lowers your blood pressure. That's why you feel wierd. High is something that real drugs do for you.

Family's My Real Addiction

I've got a good split of time between the computer and family....I refuse to miss a moment of my kids' growing up and the company of my wife. Computers are my work and my main hobby, but as a hobby it still takes a back seat to real life (obviously, the work's a necessity).

And things have been so busy with R/L lately that my time here has been fairly minimal for real contributions. But I'll never abandon this site and you guys....I love it here.

I just wanted to add to the last post and say" You guys are great". I am having alot of fun here( and learning alot). Also wanted to add, this is just a hobby for me, just like fishin' and playin' with me band, takin' my ol' Lady and kids boatin'. Also workin' costruction40+ a week. This gray box is just a way of relaxing.See you all soon.

I collect weapons (My favorite is my .45 Kimber Warrior)
I have travelled around the world and currently live in Hawaii
I was in the military and shot all sorts of weapons and met different soldiers/people from different countries
I race my mustangs when I am back home
Spending time with my family, even the inlaws

It's military personel like you that keep the United States together (thank you); I'll never stop thanking people in the armed forces just to let you know :wave:

My life is balanced between my education, friends, and the big box for me. I need to spend more time on my schoolwork and less time on the computer if you get my drift. Although, I seem to accelerate in languages in my school (Ha tomado dos anos de espanol y estoy en mi tercero ano, also...Я знаю Русский). I tend to get home from school, turn on my computer, and before you know it, I'm turning it off and going to bed. On the weekends, I do more than this, and actually go out. I think it's time for a balancing of my schedule

I think someone should start a thread " The definition of Cool". Just because you're a computer geek doesn't mean your not cool. I , personally, look up to you guys because of your knowledge. I doesn't matter who you hang with or how you dress. I wear jeans+t-shirts, have long hair, work construction, play in a band, have a family, and drink too much and I think you all are cool because you know more than I when it comes to PC's. What is cool?

I think only teenagers and or metro-sexuals are the ones concerned about being cool and being overly concerned on what people think
