Asrock Vision 3D upgrade

I have an AS Rock Vision 3d that ive had from new, been used solely as my htpc used to run xbmc now kodi
I've noticed how slow it is to start up and feel its time to speed it up a touch
do I get an ssd for the operating system to run quicker, or increase the ram, or both?
Guess I'm looking at spending £75 / £150 and installation needs to be quite easy , happy to open up the box etc but can't write nor do I understand writting code

First, clean up.... clear out dust (search in YouTube) ... consider replacing thermal paste (ditto).... use you version of Windows disk cleanup and defrag.....remove unwanted files....use some anti-malware to be sure you are 'clean'

See if that is 'enough'.

If not, review your manual to determine what (if any) upgrades are possible. If it were mine, I would probably go into a modern video card - but I do not think you have a slot open. 4GB RAM should be enough except for modern games...don't think SSD would add much.
