You start by saying "you love when Shawn write science articles". Then go on to correct it. Why not just start by saying "Just want to clarify..." instead of the snide sarcasm. I understand u learned this behavior from others around u, but awareness is the first step! Your ego is not your amigo.

Because this has been going on for well over a decade. After 14 years on this site I still see him making the same mistakes he's been making for over a decade. He tries to write things that are more editorial than article and has a general lack of science knowledge yet he has tried to be a science writer for years.

I think of it as a game but he made so many mistakes in his "article" that someone else had to point out one I missed. He didn't even do any research on the subject, he just paraphrased another article. He didn't read multiple articles to see if his source article made a mistake, he just paraphrased his source article and called it a day.
