The goal is to embed AI so deeply into our electronic landscape that it be too complex or costly to get rid of it once everything is standardized around it. Oh, your car drove you into a ravine? "Must have been the traffic AI," says the car maker. "No, it was the car's AI," says the car maker - and by the time any verdict is reached a decade has gone by and the companies responsible no longer exist. The "intelligence" will be artificial but the crimes will be very real.
