Had problem with machine turning off in middle of norton virus scan
Norton could not resolve and gave me my money back - ruined machine set up and told me to restore factory settings
obtained restore cd from Advent - reformatted disk and set up again. Downloaded Avat home edition and yet again it crashed in virus scan
reformated c drive using a linus (?) CD utility - think it was called Bart
C drive reformated and wiped data
then inserted cd from advent which forated again and restored machine back to factory settings
downloaded AVAST home edition - performed scan during install - machine crashed - rebooted and tried again - it crashes everytime during a scan
virus or hardware problem - please help
