Bad modem?

I have an arris SB6141 modem with a Synology RT2600ac router. The internet keeps going down. The green globe light on the modem goes off when no connectivity. I think it's either the modem going bad or something on spectrums side. It's been going on for weeks. Intermittent internet connection. Sometimes resetting the modem works but other times not. It was down a whole day yesterday with no outages reported. Any ideas? Thanks

Search for firmware update for BOTH the SB6141 modem & Synology RT2600ac router .

if you find either or both, INSTALL them all.
