Beeping upon booting... What's wrong?

So I just finished with my first build, and successfully installed windows 10. After a while I sorta got tired of seeing the bright flash of the HDD LED, so I cluelessly detached the HDD LED from the motherboard. When I restarted the computer, it gave five beeps. So, not knowing what just happened, I immediately shut down the computer. After plugging the LED back in, I restarted. It did the same thing as last time. Ths time I just let it finish starting, and it did fine. My system appears the same as it should be. So my question is, what did I do when I unplugged the LED and restarted, and how can I fix the beeping?

My system specs:
Motherboard- MSI 970 Gaming
CPU- AMD FX 6300
