BF2 high ping

I was playing bf2 today on a server i play almost on a daily basis. My ping usually runs from 30-35. IN the middle of the game it shot up to 220-230. it has also been running that high on 2 other servers that i regularly play on. but other than that my ping has been running normal on other servers that i normally play on.

no other players that i know of are having that problem while playing on those particular servers. i thought it might be a punkbuster issue because i had just been kicked for a punkbuster error. i updated and the problem still continues.

any kind of help would be appreciated

Have you had any driver updates recently? Are these servers located really far from your location? What else do you have running in the background, and passed all this. What are your pc specs, thx.
