I will never be able to figure you people out. In 2 years, COVID killed as many people as the regular flu would kill in 25+ years yet its insignificant.
But you all tout Ebola as the boogie man but it killed 2 Americans and all of 11 Americans got it between 2014-16.

It's a statistic you only care about because it's round and it proves you're "right" if you don't think about it too hard and has nothing at all to do with empathy for the deceased.

For me 100K dead overnight, not a million over 2 years. That's not a pandemic. And on top of that we all know that the reported deaths from COVID was inflated by any means necessary to scare people into keeping the vaccine billionaires.....well.....billionaires.

Pandemic iirc just means a wide outbreak of a disease (vs epidemic where the outbreak is localized) and there isn't a statistical rubrik. The word, however, is long, scary, and uses multiple syllables so it's no wonder the media loved it.
