BIOS Not installed!

  1. Hey guys I recently acquired a DELL power Edge server for my small design firm, it had raid 1 (mirrored) setup, and i believe is running Win2K Server Edition, recently it wouldn't boot, so i decided to take 1 of the HD's out since it was the problem, after that it booted to win, but i didn't have the admin password, finally got the password, but when i booted again to get into windows, now it shows BIOS Not installed!

I'm now much of a techy person, but how can it work and then not?, just weird, please help, let me know what to do

BTW, the HD's are SATA 150 i believe, and NO, i cannot go to dell since the server is out of warranty, Thanks again guys

is ther option f1 to enter bios or f2 continue
older machine the bios battery is bad and needs replaced??
and again did you tap on f1 or delete key to enter bios
this is where it has the raid setup maybe when you removed disc ,depending on config of raid you are missing part of file system
I would see if I can get to bios and reset to factory defaults
