Build a laptop! (from scratch)

  1. Is there anything in particulat i should know when building laptops? This would be my first so i would require some of your assistance along the lines guys!! :)
    If you can suggest some wesbites that have better prices on laptop parts it would be appreaciated also. Thanks

    This is the only place that I am aware of that sells parts: http://laptopparts.vivotechnology.net/Motherboards/

    Newegg has a few processors, batteries, harddrives, etc.

    * I've always wanted to build a laptop but the market doesn't exactly encourage such an undertaking. raybay could give some excellent advice.
