One of my client's has BusinessWorks 12.1 at their office, which worked fine until one of their employee's was 'let go' :suspiciou , now whenever more than one workstation attempts to access the program, they receive the following error:
"SYSTEM ACCESS DENIED. The maximum number of network users allowed by the BusinessWorks system have already signed on."
I installed the software on our test bench machines and get the same results. I've contacted the SW maker (Best/Sage/Buckhead, or whatever they are calling themselves at the moment) and get the "oh-sorry-we-can't-help-you-you-have-to-buy-the-upgrade" response.
Is anyone out there familiar with this software? It seems like it would be a relatively simple fix, I just can't seem to find it.
