  1. A automatic Windows update installed something, and I know not what, that auto loads the folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Search Enhancement Pack.

    As Windows loads this folder always opens up on screen and I don't even know what it is.

    How do I get to stop loading or remove whatever it was it downloaded with?

    Have you tried to uninstall it?

    It doesn't show up in the control panel 'add/remove programs' and inside it is another folder, 'Choice Guard' and inside that is ChoiceGuard.dll and CGuard - properties ... (application, choice guard command line interface)

    Choice Guard - ISSUE RESOLVED!

    Choice Guard comes bundled in a update for Windows Live Essentials;

    'Windows Live Essentials provides a set of free programs that help you stay in touch with the people you care about most, edit and share your photos and memories, and even help you keep your kids safer online. Programs include Windows Live Messenger, Mail, Writer, Photo Gallery, Family Safety, Toolbar, and Movie Maker.'

    To uninstall Choice Guard, click Start, then Run, then type/paste the following and press Enter:

    msiexec /x {F0E12BBA-AD66-4022-A453-A1C8A0C4D570}
