Hello

I wonder if anyone can help , I didn't know what section to post this in

I have googled , ebay'd and amazon'd - my query but I am still unsure

I want to charge devises from a portable solar panel that has a 18v DC connection ( DC5521 ) - I just really want to know if there is such a cable to take the 18v dc input from the panel and step it down to multiple USB @ 5v . And do the standard cables with only 1 usb input do this ie: the ones you find on amazon/ebay DC to USB ( I can't seem to find a multiple one )

it's just that I have a fast charge battery bank that can 2 charges @ once ..the panel does have a additional 1x usb 5v input but I really want to make it into another 5v USB or 3

Cables will not change voltage from X to Y; you need a device.

wouldn't some cables include something like a regulator ?

or do I need to buy a regulator separately - then run DC to regulator via cable - then from other end of regulator to devise
