I have a computer that appears to be configured for RAID in the BIOS (OnChip SATA Type = RAID), yet the two attached SATA hard drives are basic discs. That had me scratching my head. I always thought discs had to be dynamic to run as RAID drives. So I guess if the BIOS is set to RAID, the motherboard can handle basic discs too?
