Can't access BIOS

Hi

I can't access my BIOS, because if I boot up the PC directly shows the Windows logo, the only way I can access it is when I physically plug out the power supply for about 2 minutes and then pressing delete. Is this maybe a setting in the BIOS called "Fast Boot" or not?

Can you please help me, because this is rather annoying

Thank you :)

I disable "Fast Boot" (and "Automatic Restart on Error") wherever possible. Since I start my machines and then go for coffee, it doesn't matter much and it has helped me by catching Blue Screens before they so quickly disappear. I also like to know that my RAM is tested and good to go.

If 'fast boot' is too fast (it often is), I check to be sure what the BIOS entry key is (Del, Esc, F1, etc) and try to force entry by pressing the key down continuously from then moment I hear the POST 'ok' beep.

ps I think 'fast boot' is stupid - rather like having gears engaged when you start the car. If you really want that - try sleep or hibernate instead.

I got to my BIOS and found that the Fast Boot option was on "Ultra Fast" so I set it to Enabled and it worked.

Thanks!
