Can't get it good

Hi,

I've been playing around with my mointor for hours it's either too bright or too dim. I don't know what to set it at is there a website to help. If I get it right after an hour I come away from the PC my eyes are squinting.

Also when I view some Online Streaming the objects have a massive blur round them. I have 1GB DDR2 RAM and 256mb video card

There are brightness settings in the graphics card settings try using them as well as the monitor ones.

What is the type and brand of your monitor?

It's a dell flat screen

Can you find a "reset" setting in the displays menu? If so, reset the display. Since this is a Dell flat screen monitor, can I assume you are runnning it off a Dell computer? What make is your 256MB video card? Is it AGP or PCI?
