Caps Lock and Password Problem

Yesterday, my computer started acting up.

The following has been happening.

Caps Lock turns on (it was off before)

Once, the following message appeared while I had a PDF file from my class instructor open:
"I HAVE ALL YOUR PASSWORDS NOW"

The mouse then swirls diagonally up the screen to the left.


I am not sure what I need to be looking for or what the best program is to remove whatever this problem is.

I have disconnected that computer from the internet and changed passwords from a computer on a different network.

I will do the format and reinstall, but is there a way to keep this from happening again? I don't even know where I got it from.
