Catalyst not detecting Monitor max resolution

I recently reinstalled Vista 32bit on my box and now the max resolution for my flat panle will not show under display settings, it is defaulting to 1024X768 and the max is 1050 1440 i am not to sure why this happened any help would be greatly appreciated. I reinstalled using the ati 7.5 vista 32bit driver and have tried reverting back to the 7.4 and the same thing happens

You reinstalled Vista? Was the Max resolution "normal" before the Vista reinstall?
