Unfortunately for you, or so it seems, there is this thing called the first amendment in the US - which extends to art, music, the right to pledge or not to pledge, and it is part of the bill of rights as you pointed out. I don't agree with most of the content of rap either, but it is an expression of the first amendment even if I don't like it. If you don't like that, that is also your problem. I don't like it either, but in no way would I ever suggest that those who spout that crap should stop doing it just because I don't like it, nor would I imply that govt should step in and eliminate it. Well, "the First Amendment" gets trampled on everyday, and you and your family are the beneficiaries of it. Broadcasters all need to have what is known as "standards and practices" department, which works in concert with the
FCC, (that's the
Federal Communications Commission), to thwart whatever garbage, hate speech, and profanity, might be inappropriate for your family. I don't hear you ranting mindlessly against that, now do I? Test out "free speech" for your self. Walk into a crowded theater and shout, "I have a gun", or, "fire", and see how that works out for you.

You apparently haven't understood a word I've said thus far about the original "Civil Rights Movement". Mr. deGrasse Tyson is a "stellar" example, (pun intended), of why the movement was so very necessary. African Americans did indeed need it to to become equal participants in a functioning society.
Unfortunately, this "2nd iteration of a civil right movement", is a lot more indicative of how dysfunctional the "American way of life", has become.
Why don't you lobby Trump and his extremist cronies to reverse the bill of rights? Then you can have everyone expressing their allegiance to this country in the only manner you approve of. People will not have to complain about North Korea then, the US would be its implicit ally.

How I view the trash out there is that it is a symptom of a much deeper problem. I wish I had the answer on how to solve it; I recognize, however, that I don't. In the meantime, the band aides applied by virtually any political entity in an effort to solve the problems have never had the desired effect. Might, perhaps, is the worst of all band aides attempted over time. Yet, as I stated prior, some have yet to learn this lesson. In the meantime, paranoia and fear have taken over, and all the rhetoric spouted so far has done nothing but amplify that fear because there are people out there who seem incapable of seeing beyond the fear. We are working on about the third generation of the welfare state. Granted, the problems that present themselves are inextricable linked to the failure of the family unit, as it existed previously.. We might just be 500 years further along in terms of medicine IF the pope at that time was not so full of himself. The Library of Alexandria was destroyed by might and 99.9 percent of all that knowledge lost; there is no telling where that trove of knowledge might have lead.
At least 90+% of that "knowledge" would have long been disproved by modern science. As to the rest of it, we already have an overabundance of "contemporary philosophers", better known as "hip hop artists", who really can't see much beyond the end of "their block", much less go to school or a library. (And yes, I understand there are likely exceptions to that, but as always spare me you rendition of what you think I mean). In this century any condemnation of anything, is viewed as either "over-generalization", or flat out simply, "politically incorrect".

The "House of Representatives" is equivalent to the British, "House of Commons", (equal representation by population), and Senate is equivalent to "The House of Lords", (Equal representation by DOMAIN, territory or whatever you want to call it).
