Check Disk Error File Fat 32

My systems continues to complete a "checking file system c: FAT 32 file" and does this continuously and will not take me to the desktop. What is happening and how can I fix this problem? Can anyone help?? Thanks in advance. :wave:

Try to boot into safe mode (press F8 a few times after the PCs first beep at bootup) and let chkdsk finish. Then click on Start/Run and type in MSCONFIG to see if it is entered there under one of the boot menus. Stop it if you can.
