I have a Gigabyte GA-7VT600-L. on startup, the bios says "check Sytem status" followed by an exclamation mark "!".

How can I trace the problem, if there is any?

Thanks,

Peter

Thanks for the reply. I have downloaded Everest, but I do not know what the readings should be. I have looked in the manual, but cannot find them.

Thanks again,

Peter

Run it and click on 'Computer' then on 'Sensor', then go to the VERY top of the screen and click on 'report', then 'quick report-summary' and then 'plain text' and save it then go to C:/programs/lavalys and open that folder then open Everest Home sub-folder and then reports sub-folder and then copy and paste it to here.

I would say you have some kind of hardware issue.
Check your ram with memtest 86+
check your PSU with a PSU tester and multimeter.
reseat all your cards
