China may restrict exports of Nokia and Ericsson equipment if EU countries ban Huawei

Easy...

Allow Ericsson and Nokia to build multi-billion dollar facilities of their own in EU. And hire 20k Europeans...!

Communist China needs to Collapse. They are stealing everything, and hiding behind a smiling face that protects the "agencies" stealing. Enough already.

Cut Communist China off, from the World's Internet... until they open their wall to the rest of the world.

$30,000,000,000,000 in debt by the end of Trump's disastrous presidency.

Americans waiting by their mailboxes for welfare checks right now.

McConell said that $3 Trillion spending is DOA and the "essential workers" (sacrificial) ain't getting no "$10,000 hazard pay".

This is worse than 2006 - 2008.

and don't worry about me. My business is going strong.

We can tell you do not live in the USA.

LOL^ if you believe any of the FUD you just said. People who are not part of the "gig" young crowd, all have jobs and all earning their incomes. It are just the "struggling youth" in America, who grew up on Obama po0litics & participation trophies.... who are staying home and seeking handouts.

Ironically, mad at "Someone" because they can't get a job doing nothing. But those kids... are not America... They have non-essential jobs and struggling lives. Business owners are hurting too... but they are not out on the streets tearing down statues because they angry at their parents and have energy...

You meant to say, teh... college kids waiting by their mailboxes to get paid by the government... and forgot to thank the tax payers for their vacation..!

Has Huawei actually done anything wrong? Having an unpronounceable name is the only thing I can think of.
A guy in our NOC always makes a cringe joke when they ring us; “hey, it’s Steve from Huawei” and he replies, “well we don’t know who you are either?”. You can hear the groan for miles.

Just google "Huawei intellectual property" and you will have many, many answers for that question. And it doesn't even end there but they are the kings of IP theft.

Nope don’t see it happening. America owns all the IP. Think about it, most of the big tech companies around the world are American - MS, Apple, Intel, Nvidia, Facebook, I could go on. And whilst they can manufacture their products anywhere they all only get designed in one place - Silicon Valley. American tech dominance is nothing new and only really currently challenged by the Koreans in Samsung, who have also been recently closing down their factories in China albeit for different reasons to America.

Anyway, the world isn’t already abandoning America, in fact global demand for tech is at an all time high. Their economy is actually quite strong at the moment. You mention debt levels - this isn’t a good indicator of how well an economy is doing. This debt isn’t like an overdraft you or I may have.

This is a positive thing. Americans have rights, privacy, freedom of speech. You get none of this in China or many other states around the world. I’ve been to China on a several occasions for business, I was born in the USA and I’ve lived in several countries (currently the U.K.) and I can tell you now that Chinese is one of the last nationalities I would pick to be if I had a choice.
'This debt isn’t like an overdraft you or I may have' I wish someone would tell the Tory government that, it seems to me there's only a magic money tree when they say so. They literally won the 2015 GE by comparing government spending to a household budget... And the UK citizens are still stupid to vote them in a further 2 times especially in light today's NHS trade deal vote.

Sad that the once-European kings Nokia and Ericsson had been bought over by Chinese entities.

Yeah but they were the lesser of two evils. You have to have a seriously compromised IQ to vote for the opposition to the tories in the U.K. it’s a sorry state of affairs.

I did a search before posting but there's no more issues with Huawei than for any other large company (Chinese or American). Most of the allegations seem to come from Trump and Huawei asked for a full audit of their equipment to prove their innocence but nothing was done. Many of the reports say that America's allies are also dropping Huawei but this is only because America is forcing them to do so.

It all seems to be part of the trade war between US and China. I see you've got Harley Davidson in your avatar and they got hit badly by his previous trade war on European steel - the cost for materials went up for HD and the retaliation from Europe was to vastly increase the taxes on HD motorbikes which hit HD sales. HD was then looking to move manufacturing to Tiawan to avoid these taxes which would hit jobs in the US. Not exactly a brilliant result for HD. I believe I saw an article saying they'd lost $1.4 billion due to the steel taxes and the fallout from it.

US corporations have been outsourcing their activities to Asia with one single aim, profits, for many decades. Is China to be blamed for it? Why do you think after so many years of manufacturing, project management at different layers and also research on their own territory, they don't have the tools to be just as capable as the US to produce their own products without external assistance?

And if the US was that advanced, why is it so behind in 5G technologies? Huawei is bad as Huawei is 10 years forward of everyone else in the field. Free market rules, right? Like those in Libya, Iraq and Afghanistan? Oh wait, Venezuela is still dictatorship, let's bring "democracy" there too and get the "international community" guard the private oil wells of Chevron, BP and Royal Dutch Shell while getting locals back to the Bronze Age with tribes fighting with each other like in Libya now. True democracy and advancement, right?

You remember all the great German, European and even American brands from the second half of the 20th century manufacturing TV-sets? Where are they now and who owns them? Who is the biggest manufacturer of display panels in the world? It's not LG Display, it's BOE. Year after year all big names from this field tend to disappear and the only biggest manufacturers are based in China and Turkey. Sony and Samsung have some plants in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia but most of them are in the above two countries.

China doesn't need the USA/North America and Europe anymore, including as a market. They need Asia only and their own one. Neither Trump, nor anyone else can stop this anymore. Yes, China's know-how is still limited in many fields but they have been investing in R&D for years and after the ZTE case, made their way through measures providing much greater self-sufficiency, expanding foundries, developing their own any-device OS (Harmony OS), and reorganising the supply chain to serve them better. They will suffer for a few years but will only increase their self-sufficiency as they go, achieving what they want within a few years (2024-2025).

Last but not least, China in all their history never looked at the Caucasian race/the West as superior to them including at the moment. Also for the past at least 30-40 years they have been acting the very same way as the US and Britain - as an empire - dividing and conquering, exploiting resources (Africa, Latin America) and enslaving poorer/weaker countries. Now they are a real threat to the so called "democracy" or in other words, the corporate globalist cabal seeing a real competitor that doesn't obey their interests and an immediate direct war as in many cases before is not a feasible option. Only time will show where things go but only fools believe in the fairy-tales of Huawei's national security backdoor concerns.

China is dead. It's going to be fun watching this nickle army trying to turn it around haha!

The US will crash China in terms of military, intellectual IP, economic power, and the fact that more talented people are still flocking to the USA. The last point especially is what makes the US strong.

That said, no doubt China is a raising power. They will take every measure they can to catch up, and they will be cautious about the West, especially given the role Western powers played in the history of Asia and the world of the last [few centuries.] (Try look at it from the others' perspective)

Countries' leaders do what is best for their nations, hopefully. But no matter which side your are on, if a war breaks out between the two nations, we will all freaking lose. We all stand to gain more in peace. That is a fact.
