Computer build/major upgrade

Hey guys im build/ upgrading a computer for WoW on ultra settings. ive pretty much picked everything out and it should work together, but I just wanted to check with some other people.
heres the hardware I picked:

motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128519

processor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113286

graphics: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202023

memory: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233298

power supply: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153165

case choice 1: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811156078

case choice 2: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811156239

then just throw the disk drive and hard drive I have now onto the new hardware.

the case choices are for what I am allowed to get....

Looks good, the components will fit in the case easily.

Only thing I'd change is the RAM, get 2x4GB instead of one 8GB stick so run them in dual channel.

Did not check HCL for you. I assume you are able.
The dual channel thought is a good one, but memory is so cheap, why not do 2 matched 8gig ram?
Shouldn't be too much of a stretch, should it?

A couple of other thoughts...
Having just recently done an amd build myself.

1. Your bottom mount psu and the location of the cpu power connector on the board may make it a stretch to connect, and for cable management purposes you may prefer to get an extender.

2. I found the bottom mount psu and the board location in another mid-tower case (Thermaltake V3) to be a bit close, meaning 2 or 3 way sli was not an option for me. You have a different board, so the slot placement looks a bit better, just watch it. In fact, because of the various connections made along the bottom edge of the board, still (for you also) the wiring will partially obstruct airflow for your graphics card in the second slot. As long as you are not doing an sli configuration that should not be a problem. You don't mention a second graphics card, so that may not be on the map anyway, but for future expansion, just a thought to keep in mind.

All in all, I probably would have gone with one of the cases you first suggested.

Finally, I would also check prices via Micro Center.
For me, I found a better set of deals there.
Watch especially for the mb / cpu combo deals.

I hope this is helpful.

I'd personally get a better brand power supply, such as one form Corsair, Seasonic or XFX.

Thermaltake are ok, but I like to feed my PC only the best power, and you can't beat the above brands.
