I want to upgrade the ram in my computer. I was asked to pull the card and see if it was PC100 or 133. I got the information, reinstalled the card, but now the computer won't turn on. The fan comes on, but that is about it. This is a Dell Dimension 4400, Pentium 3. Any ideas???

Welcome to TechSpot

Did you put the memory back in its original place? Press it down all the way, so that both white clips slot into the openings on the side of the RAM-stick?
And if you added RAM, is it the exact same type?
Did you switch off the PC and disconnect it from the mains, before you pulled that old RAM? If not, you probably blew that RAM and is no longer useable.
Try it with only one stick.
