Connection Problem with local network Linksys BEFSR41v4

Hello,

Yesterday i installed the Linksys BEFSR41 DSL router. The connection to the internet works from every port/switch (1 to 4). But the pc`s that are connected to the ports can't "see" eachother, so i can`t share files or printers. If i put another switch on a port of the linksys and i connect the pc`s to that switch then they "see" eachother and they can connect to the internet. But then i don`t use 3 ports of the Linksys :-(
What could be the problem? I think it should be a setting in the Linksys, i tried some but it didn`t work. Which setting could it be?

May be problem with subnet mask

Hi ,

As for my knowledge,
If you want to connect to another system on your router , all the connections should have the same "Sub net Mask"

You can see the subnet mask assigned using start -> run -> cmd

and "ipconfig/all"
