Counter-Strike Source Problem

Within 10 minutes or less of joining an online game, Counter-Strike Source (or any other hl2 based game) freezes. After 5 minutes of being frozen, a message at the top right indicates "warning connection problem" and i am able to move my view in game but my surrounding is still frozen. Finally, i disconnect and i receive "lost connection to server"

If i join a game after that, the game immediately freezes upon joining the server. I have to restart Steam and Counter-Strike just to have it freeze within 10 minutes again. Could this be a network or hardware problem? Thanks for the help.....:grinthumb

I have done complete virus scans and updated my drivers.

This isn't a problem of your hardware. There are some files corrupted in CSS.
Remove the program and reboot. Then reinstall it. That will work.

Edit: I reinstalled but i still freeze in game.

Ok, make sure you have no P2P programs running. Also, make sure you try defragmenting the game files (right click, properties, local game files)

Also, if you search for CS:S problems, you will probably find my old thread with a lot of info.
